After a luxury breakfast in Largs, Dualist will carry you over The Firth of Clyde to Rothesay on Bute from where you will be transported to Mount Stuart, home to the Stuart’s of Bute.

This flamboyant house and its 300 acres of gardens reflect the artistic, religious and astrological interests of the 3rd Marquess of Bute and is a shining example of the grand domestic architecture that came out of Britain’s 19th Century Gothic Revival. On a private tour of the house, you will see parts of Mount Stuart not usually open to the public like its historic swimming pool, and the grand Purple Room, where you can sample fresh, seasonal food as you take lunch in its indulgent surroundings.

The tour also includes a visit to the contemporary art collection which has received national and international acclaim. Then stroll around the picturesque gardens, including the Kitchen Garden which is a sensual feast of culinary and medicinal delights.
On return to Rothesay, guest will re-join Dualist and enjoy a relaxed sail back to Largs accompanied by tea and scones.
